Last updated: 26/10/2026 – Version 6.3

What is this document?

This privacy policy has been drawn up pursuant to Article 13 of European Regulation No. 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (“General Data Protection Regulation”, “Regulation” or “GDPR”).

Through this policy, Iginio Massari S.r.l. intends to inform each user (“User” or “Data Subject”) about the processing of personal data collected through the website www.iginiomassari.cyou (“Website”), including data collected through the forms dedicated to company and reseller registration for the e-Shop’s B2B features.

The e-Shop’s B2B features and their registration forms are currently available exclusively in Italian and are intended solely for companies operating in Italy. Consequently, the sections of this Privacy Policy relating to the e-Shop’s B2B features apply exclusively to users who access or use such a service on behalf of said companies.

b. Request for registration and management of an e-Shop account with B2B features

Personal data will be processed to receive, verify and manage the request to register for the e-Shop’s B2B features, verify that the requirements for access as a company or reseller are met, contact the designated contact person and, if the request is accepted, create and manage the account and the resulting B2B business relationship.

In particular, the Controller may verify the information provided by the company and request any additional documentation necessary to assess the access request.

For the collection and management of data relating to companies registered for the e-Shop’s B2B features and their respective contact persons, the Controller also uses the Uptonica platform, provided by Webgas S.r.l. Data relating to B2B service users is processed through this platform, as well as through the Shopify and Odoo systems, while not being transferred to the Klaviyo platform. The use of Uptonica to manage such data does not automatically entail its use for promotional purposes, for which the specific legal grounds provided for in this Policy remain applicable.

d. Management and processing of requests for information and assistance, including through Artificial Intelligence tools

Personal data will be processed to manage and respond to requests for information, technical assistance and support, as well as to assist the User before, during and after the provision of products or services.

For managing assistance requests, the Controller also uses an AI-powered chatbot integrated into the Uptonica platform and provided by Webgas S.r.l. The chatbot can automatically process Users’ requests and formulate responses using the information provided during the conversation and, where necessary, data relating to the account, orders, purchases and requested services. Conversations may be managed through automated processes and, when necessary, referred to the authorized personnel of the assistance service.

Responses are automatically generated by AI systems and may contain inaccurate or incomplete information.

Retention period

For the period necessary to manage and respond to the request and, subsequently, for the time necessary to manage any related disputes or requests.

Once this period has elapsed, the conversations are automatically deleted. As confirmed by the provider, deletion extends to copies, backups, and logs containing the conversation data managed by the platform.

Further retention may only be provided for specific documented needs, such as compliance with legal obligations or the establishment, exercise, or defense of rights, limited to the data necessary and for the period justified by the relevant purpose.

Users may request the early deletion of their personal data in the cases provided for by Art. 17 of the GDPR.

The use of Meta Pixel, Conversions API, and other cookies or advertising tracking tools does not depend on consent to direct marketing collected through the forms on the Website.

3. Nature of the provision of data

The provision of data necessary for the creation and management of the account, the management of the registration request for the e-Shop B2B functionality, the execution of orders, invoicing, product delivery, payment management and compliance with legal obligations is necessary.

In the “Companies” and “Resellers” forms, the data marked with an asterisk is necessary to verify and manage the registration request, assess compliance with the requirements, create the account with access to the B2B functionality and, subsequently, manage purchases, invoicing and related compliance.

Failure to provide such data will prevent the Data Controller from processing the registration request or providing the requested products and services.

The provision of data and consent for newsletter, marketing and profiling purposes is optional.

Failure to provide consent does not prevent:

·       the submission of the registration request;

·       the assessment of the request;

·       the creation of the account;

·       access to the B2B functionalities of the e-Shop;

·       completion of purchases;

·       performance of the contractual relationship.

Requests for consent relating to the newsletter and promotional communications by email can be collected through a single optional option. Consent to profiling, if any, is requested separately.

The relevant checkboxes are not pre-selected and are not mandatory for submitting the form or accessing the services.

At login, Users may be shown a specific optional option to consent to the sending of promotional communications, including the newsletter by email. If the User has already provided valid consent for the same purposes, failure to select the option at a subsequent login does not constitute a withdrawal of the previously expressed consent, which remains effective until its withdrawal or, if earlier, until the expiry of the applicable retention period indicated in this Privacy Notice. The User may withdraw consent at any time in accordance with the procedures set out in this Privacy Notice.

The Data Controller retains the documentation necessary to demonstrate the consent provided, including, where applicable, the date, the content of the consent request and the version of the form or privacy notice presented to the Data Subject.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Activities based on legitimate interest do not require the Data Subject's consent. The Data Controller has carried out or will carry out, where necessary, a balancing test between its interests and the fundamental rights and freedoms of the Data Subjects.

4. Third-party personal data

The use of certain Site services may involve communicating personal data relating to third parties to the Data Controller, for example data relating to employees, collaborators, administrators, company contacts or recipients of a shipment.
